In short

Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MerchantLion website, dashboard, API and reports (the “Service”), operated by MerchantLion (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you may bind it.
What the Service does
The Service inspects publicly accessible pages of a website you specify, optionally compares them with product data you supply, and produces findings, scores and reports about conditions that may relate to Google Merchant Center requirements. Scores are rule-based indicators, not predictions of any Google decision.
Independence from Google
MerchantLion is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google LLC. We have no access to Google’s systems or your Merchant Center account unless you upload data from it yourself. Only Google decides account and product status. We do not guarantee approval, reinstatement or any particular outcome.
Your account
Keep your credentials confidential and tell us promptly about unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity under your account and for members you invite. You must be at least 18 years old.
Fees and payment
Quick scans are free. Standard and Deep scans are priced per scan at $49 and $99 (USD) when paid billing is enabled; during launch periods we may waive fees, and the price shown is recorded as waived. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your card details. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy. Prices may change for future scans with notice on our pricing page.
Your content
You keep ownership of the data you upload (such as product feeds and diagnostics exports). You grant us a limited licence to process it and the public pages we scan solely to provide the Service. Reports generated for you are yours to use, including sharing with your team, agencies and Google.
Our intellectual property
The Service, its software, rule library, design and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Service except as allowed by law.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Findings depend on the pages we could access at scan time; pages may be blocked, change, or differ by region. We do not provide legal advice. See our Disclaimer.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, lost profits or lost revenue, including losses from Merchant Center or advertising account decisions. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from websites you submit without authorisation or from your breach of these Terms.
Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or misuse of our scanner. Data retention after closure is described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country still apply.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new “last updated” date; continued use after changes means you accept them.
